Saundra, I love what you said " For many women it makes the difference from being a victim to a victor! " That was me! I am no longer a victim, praise God. Wow isn't it crazy how the words of someone you have never met can be so powerful! Thank you for that!!

I attended the retreat in May. From the moment I was greeted at the airport, I knew something amazing was about to happen. I had a feeling of peace, love and the presence of God and His love and mercy in every square inch of Robin's Nest. We were all a little guarded that first night, but once the work began, the walls began to break. For someone like me who had spent 42 long years living in my shame and guilt, feeling safe enough to let go and trust that I was in a safe place was major. Before I knew it the shackles were breaking and the Holy Spirit was taking over. I went home a changed woman with a renewed spirit, an overwhelming peace and a urge to tell everyone I could about my experience. Four months later I was back as a volunteer to serve the women attending the September retreat! That trip was equally amazing. I have done a one on one Breaking the Shackles with a friend and Giving God Your worst with a client and she is growing in her walk with Jesus. Thank you Dinah and Kelli for all that you do, and thank you to the supporters of this ministry for making it possible for any woman that wants to attend and break free from their shame. I am passionately pursuing what God as called me to.

I woke up this morning thinking of them and praying too. This day of the retreat was my awakening and redemption. Finally broke those shackles of shame, guilt and self hatred. Oh what a feeling!!!! <3

I met with my sister at the airport. It had been about 4 years since I had seen her. There was no great moment of love and hugging, but this time I was not intimidated or filled with immediate anger. As usual she was not interested in me or my life, but I immediately shared briefly my experience at Robins nest and gave her Dinah's card and said you need this too. It was the first time in my life I saw her as a hurt little girl too. We may never be friends or close but that is okay. She even text me later and said " you seem so at peace". Thank you Heavenly Father for this gift!!
