Hi everyone! I wanted to give a quick update on how the study is going. God is working in these women's lives, however, attacks from the evil one are also evident. In week 2 we were missing 2 women and that's half of our group! I chose to see it as an opportunity for a deeper conversation with the women who came and a fruitful conversation was had regarding divorce and the trauma that they have and are still grappling with. Last week was supposed to be our week 3 meeting, but it had to be canceled. During our center's in-person fundraising Gala I was in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. I found out the afternoon of our evening study time, so I had to cancel. I did get tested and the result was negative, Praise God! The women were supportive and understood, but it was so frustrating and defeating. The enemy is working hard behind the scenes to stop this study from being completed. Please pray for us. It is greatly appreciated. Our next meeting is tomorrow night and I'm hopeful that we can get back on track and continue towards healing for these women. Praying for you all! 😘

Hi there ladies! I'm humbly asking for prayer coverage for our group that begins tonight and will be meeting for the next 6 weeks. We have 4 women who will be walking through the Giving God Your Worst videos and workbook. I'm excited, but a bit nervous, as this will be the first group I've facilitated! So prayers are greatly appreciated. Love you all and I'm praying for all of you!

I was listening to my favorite Christian radio station while driving today and heard Tasha Layton's new song called "Look What You've Done" for the first time. The lyrics resonated so deeply for me and I believe they speak to what so many of us have been through in our lives and the healing that we've found from God and by attending Dinah's retreat. I continue to be amazed at what God has done for me since attending the retreat and am humbled by what he's calling me to. It's both exciting and scary! This song is a great reminder that reflecting back on our journey is ok, necessary for continued healing and that we should also be celebrating how far we've come and what He has done for each of us. His love truly surpasses all understanding! Praying for you all!! I hope you enjoy the song as much as I do!!
