Good Thursday greetings to you all! We wrapped up the session this past Wednesday and WOW these ladies are feeling such newness and growth from our short time together! I have a gal named Krystal who would like to keep this GGYW study moving forward to others in the Church! This is exciting news! I plan to take a little time to regroup before inviting the gals to begin Breaking the Shackles. Some feedback included keeping the group small for discussion sake. Our group morphed into 11 and I fully agree...too many! Name tags were suggested and more than 6 weeks as well. It has been a blessing indeed and I look forward to seeing how God continues this need for His Daughters! This picture is missing 3 gals, but it's a great view of their faces after it was the end of the night. Another suggestion I'd invite the group to come together one last time AFTER the completion. It would be an opportunity to have final reflections, celebrations and any other needs brought to the table. So there you have it from the Minnesota guinea pigs! I'm SUPER excited to see how Erin's goes!! In Him~ Ang

Tomorrow, Monday August 2nd will be the 4th gathering of our 6 week journey. The Ramsey Giving God Your Worst group is growing by leaps and bounds! These one time strangers are not only becoming closer in the privacy of the group, but are now being more intentional of greeting each other during Sunday service! I am a personal witness to seeing walls falling and hearts living in exactly what they've been craving at Hope Fellowship, Sisterhood. Stories of rape, abortion, broken homes of adultery, adoption stories gone wrong, self destruction and sexual abuse to their young children have already been brought to the table. We're deep! Way sooner than I had ever imagined! These women needed a safe space and permission to walk through their need to come out of their hate of self and circumstances. One is asking me to accompany her to Robin's Nest next year, one is learning to start another group in the future, one is seeking to be coached by me and a good number are already preparing their hearts for Breaking the Shackles of Shame with me. This is AMAZING! I will let you know that with the start of every gathering I read a short disclosure that I had typed up on confidentiality and the importance of leaving what's discussed at the table AT THE TABLE unless their Sister reaches out to them outside of the group. One attendee shared that the way this group has been has been what she has wanted for all her life. "Even though I'm younger, I am learning so much and can trust the wisdom in the room." WHOW!! So to my Psalm 51 Sister's I say to GO FOR IT and get this study actively moving in your community! IT"S NEEDED! We thank you for your continued prayers! *Prayer request. One of the attendees is a single women who feels that she has "earned the right to be sexually promiscuous because I was such a good girl growing up". THIS IS DANGEROUS as we all know! Please pray as you see fit for this hardened heart! In Him~ Ang

I am honored to bring news that the Giving God Your Worst has begun in Ramsey Minnesota as of last night 7/12/21! The books and bags were on my doorstep just in time for them to be brought to the study that evening! There are 10 participants, 6 were in attendance for the kick off. I am getting the materials to those who couldn't make the first meeting as I know the value in being caught up for the next gathering. This group will be meeting for the next 6 consecutive Mondays, actually 5 now, for 2 hours. The order of the agenda goes as follows. Arrival at 6 pm, 20 minutes for check in/review from the week past, the video series, 20 minutes breakaway to answer as many of the questions as possible (encouraging to complete them over the next week) come back together for question review and discussion time, up to the 2 hour mark. Last night we went 5 minutes over, which doesn't surprise me. LOL! We're ladies who crave community and chatting is where we thrive! After I pushed stop, one of the gals blurted out "WOW! I LIKE THIS!" which encouraged the others to share how this study may be applicable in their own lives. It was so good and I could see a glimmer of freedom in some of their eyes. I will say that I did see one with reservation, but that's just as well too. We can pray for her heart to soften up as we get deeper. I've created and shared a complete email list to the group, inviting them to connect outside of the time we spend together. I'm praying that they build a unique Sisterhood through this journey. I learned that some of them had no idea the other attended the Church with them! That blows my mind, but I can understand that there are people who may not want to be noticed. I also learned from a husband of one of the gals, that the wife is in a "lonely" phase of her life. Their best friends and only friends from this particular congregation just moved away and she is in mourning over her friend being gone. So please join me in the knitting process of what God is doing in the lives of these ladies! I am truly honored to be an eye witness to His goodness through it all! I'm happy to share my agenda packet with any of you to use when you have your gathering, of coarse if you'd like to follow the same process. I'll touch back in the near future to let you know how we're coming along and for any specific prayer requests. In Him~ Ang
