Hello, Ms. Dinah!
As soon as I got home in April, I was able to have a day to process and work through what the Lord revealed to me at the retreat - anger at my dad. I asked my husband to let me have my time alone, without questions and that I would share with him later. Acknowledgment and understanding came as I walked through the process we learned there. I wrote those things down in letter form again. Later, after sharing with my husband, he opened up to me for the first time about his hurtful relationship with his dad.
We are pressing into our relationship with the Lord and are going forward now - willing to work through things as we're growing. We finally began our health journey together too.
The things that have been hidden in my heart for so long are coming to life and steps are being made to become a reality. I won't share those right now, but the time will come when I can!
