Hi Dinah! I'm missing the Robin's Nest and all of the amazing women I met so much! I can't wait to visit again. :) This is what I wrote on my profile page after returning home and although I've felt attacks from the enemy and had to overcome these attacks, I'm able to find joy again more quickly and remain hopeful that Christ is leading me and preparing my heart to help other women find freedom... I attended the retreat in April of 2021 and because of Dinah's program "Breaking the Shackles of Shame" I was finally able to acknowledge the trauma that my little girl experienced and release her of the lies she was still grappling with. These lies were holding me hostage in my adult life and negatively affecting my relationships. I've participated in counseling several times, taken medication for depression, changed my lifestyle, and deepened my relationship with God, in an attempt to find true joy. None of these actions seemed to be the "key" that would unlock the complete freedom I was seeking. "Breaking the Shackles of Shame" was an answer to prayer and a gift from God! I finally understand that I was living from a place of shame and now that I've identified the lies and let my little girl off the hook, I feel lighter, happier, and more at peace with who I am. When I wrote my letter to my little girl, everything in me shifted and joy came pouring in. My life will never be the same and I'm so grateful to Dinah for answering Gods call to share this message he gave her and to continue her mission of healing women. I'm excited to be able to bring this information to as many women as I can and to put an end to the cycle of shame.
