I feel a peace that has settled into my soul since the retreat. I came home feeling very raw, but a rawness that has opened me up to healing. I was able to see a full picture of my life, and that picture isn't scary anymore. I took all the ugly things and put them at the foot of the cross, and then placed them in their right slots in my memories. And then I told all to my husband and felt his full love and acceptance, when I thought I would have felt disdain. I am starting a Giving God Your Worst group next week and am super excited to see what God is going to do.
